Online Marketing Toolkit

You will find all kinds of great software tools in this toolkit:

Domain and Hosting Service

GoDaddy - probably the single biggest domain registration company out there. I buy all of my domains from them and I really like their service. I also use their hosting service.

Web Editing Software

Adobe Dreamweaver – the industry-leading web editing software that provides both visual and code-level capabilities for creating standards-based websites.

Web Design Software

Adobe Fireworks – provides the tools you need to create expressive, highly optimized graphics for the web.

Blogging Tools

WordPress – the best blogging platform, and it's free.

Tumblr - ridiculously easy to use blogging platform.

Email Marketing Software

iContact - the industry standard for affordable and reliable email list management, delivery and auto responders functionality. I personally use it and I love it.

Merchant account

PayPal - very safe and ridiculously easy to use.

Affiliate Software

Post Affiliate Pro - One-time fee and not expensive. Application will be installed on your server. Very professional.

All-In-One eCommerce Systems

Email marketing + Shopping Cart + Affiliate Software in one system

Infusionsoft - all-in-one system, it's great, but pricey.

1ShoppingCart - a bit cheaper than Infusionsoft.

Membership Site Software

Kajabi - It's a marketing platform, not just a membership site software.

Website Statistic/Tracking Software

Being able to measure precisely the actions your website visitors take is critical to your success.

Google Analytics - Google’s free web analytics solution.

ClickTale - you can record and watch everything your visitors do on your website. It’s awesome!

Video Players

You have 2 options for your online video:
1. You can use a video-sharing and hosting service
2. You can buy a video player software and host your video where you want

1. Video-sharing and hosting services

The basic services are usually free, but if you want to upload longer videos or better quality videos it also has some cost. There are tons of free video hosting services out there. See the most popular bellow.

YouTube, Viddler, Vimeo, DailyMotion

Slightly better, pretty expensive and they have limited trial: Ooyala, Veeple

2. Video Player Software + Video Hosting Service

Video Player Software

These video players usually have a one-time fee, you download the software and that is it. Hosting is NOT included with video players, so you will have to host your videos on your own server, or you can buy a video hosting service.

FlowPlayer - I use FlowPlayer and love it! It has a free version and a paid version, but you can get away with the free version. You can host your videos on your own server, but if you have a significant amount of traffic to your videos then use Amazon EZ S3.

Check out the installation guide to install Flowplayer, then check out the configuration guide to do more advanced stuffs with your player. Very easy to use. All you need to do is cut and paste some code and you can do anything you want.

S3MediaPlayer - nice player but I think FlowPlayer looks better...

Video Hosting Service

Amazon EZ S3 - If you are getting shitloads of traffic to your videos I recommend you use EZ S3 because it loads better and it is almost impossible to blow it up. You only pay for what you use and it is pennies for the bandwidth.

Traffic Getting Tools

Traffic Geyser – the most popular video, social media, article and content distribution platform.

Google Webmaster Tools – provides you with detailed reports about your pages' visibility on Google.

Market Samurai – keyword research tool. It allows you to discover the best keywords and your competitors weaknesses.

WordTracker – keyword Research tool for SEO and PPC.

Majestic SEO – link intelligence tool for SEO experts. It shows inbound links and site summary data for any website.

KeywordWrap – free keyword wrapper makes wrapping keywords for your Google AdWords campaigns.

MarketingGrader - use it to make sure your site is well built in Google's eyes.

PingdomTools - test the load time of your website.

Other Tools and Services

FileZilla - if you want to upload your files on your server you will need an FTP client. FileZilla is free, and it's the best.

20DollarBanners - affordable web and flash banner design service from $20.

TemplateMonster - the world's #1 website templates provider.

UpWork - by far my favorite outsourcing site right now.

Tools for Creating Digital Products

Camtasia – I use it for screen recordings and video editing.

AT2020 USB – I use this mic for all of my screen recordings. It’s a very good mic, but you will also need a mic stand, a shockmount, and a pop filter to really make it work.

Prezi – makes nice zooming presentations.
